The Oscar-nominated director Espen Sandberg, hails from Sandefjord, Norway.
Through his close collaboration with childhood friend Joachim Rønning, he has directed acclaimed films such as «Bandidas» (2006), «Max Manus: Man of War» (2008), «Kon-Tiki» (2012), and «Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales» (2017).
Espen’s success extends to his commercial work, with notable international campaigns for Airbus, Nintendo, Coca-Cola, GE, and Nokia. He has also made significant contributions to the North American market, including memorable spots for Capital One, Labatt’s, and the award-winning USA Today Super Bowl 2001 Viewer’s Poll commercial for Budweiser.
