Over the course of 20 years, Stian Andersen has become one of Norway’s most renowned music video directors and photographers, in addition to directing commercial work. Stian has directed music videos for artists like Karpe, Robyn, Røyksopp, Highasakite, Ane Brun, Kvelertak and Susanne Sundfør. His music videos and films have collected numerous awards across Europe as well as in the US, and have been showcased at film festivals in (almost) every corner of the world.

Stian has directed commercial films for clients like Mercedes, Citroën, Choice Hotels, Kreftforeningen, Tv2, NAF, and DNB Bank to name a few. 

He is known for his energy driven films with striking and beautiful imagery.

Last year Stian directed the a-ha movie True North that was screened at 400 cinemas in 25 different countries.

He has also directed the documentary film “The Return to Mouthatal” about the legendary Rock’n’Roll band Backstreet Girls. The film was shown at cinemas in Norway and was rewarded with the first price for best foreign documentary at the Indie Fest Film Awards in LA.

Stian has photographed artists like Prince, Michael Jackson, Daft Punk and Oasis. His work has been published in editorial mastodonts like Der Spiegel, Time Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, The Guardian, Stern, and Vogue Magazine.
